HISTORY OF THE COLLEGE
On Monday, January 21, 2018; Apostle Alvin Campbell started a 12-course training program for a few pastors from North Carolina, South Carolina and Florida. This training program duration was from January to June, every Monday evening by way of “Google Duo”. Google Duo is a Voice Calling app that allows the participants to use their camera to connect with people, family, and friends. The training program and fellowship teaching was such a success that the pastors from various states, encouraged Apostle Alvin Campbell to continue this course for others to participate online.
In July of 2018, Apostle A. Campbell, opened doors for those who are presently doing ministry and those who would like to go into ministry, to participate in a local ministerial training program of 12-courses that will last for 6 months with a Certificate Graduation Program at the end. The students that joined the 12-Course Ministerial Program was so thrilled with the teachings and class participation activities, that all of them stated that they knew people and family members who would love to take the same ministerial course, if it was presented online. The course was very cheap, because it was a pilot course to see what kind of respond the students would give when completing the training course.
Apostle A. Campbell has a heart of love to teach this gospel and therefore, only charged the students the price of his time developing the Ministerial Training Booklet at $25.00. In fact, there were two other instructors who saw the vision and willingly volunteer their service to see this foundation get established. The HROBC truly thank God for Rev. Dr. Loretta Wood-Harrell and Pastor Cherille Campbell, Apostle’s beloved wife, for their support and continue push of encouragement to establish and Bible College presence online. We had a few more classes to assist biblical learning for local students at the campus of Highway Restoration Ministries, 740 Vance Street, Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina.
This is an exciting time for our online Bible College. I want to personally thank our Ministerial Staff of Professors and previous students for their push and encouragement to see the vision of this great opportunity to launch for thousands of students, who will now have the chance to attend an online bible school because the expense of online Bible Colleges is somewhat affordable, but for many, not affordable enough. There are few Bible Colleges where you can get a Certificate Program in Church Ministry for about $1.00 a day and a Certificate Program for Ministerial Training for about $1.50 a day! That's right, we are very affordable. I welcome you to be a part of our Bible College Family.
